Masontown is a borough in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States and it is part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The town is served by the Albert Gallatin Area School District. It is a small crossroads for the rural portions of south-western Fayette County, incorporated in March of 1876. The current population is 3,394.

Council Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 6PM. Meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Masontown Borough Municipal Complex, One East Church Street.
