Welcome to Masontown Borough
Masontown is a borough in Fayette County, Pennsylvania,
United States and it is part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The town is served
by the Albert Gallatin Area School District. It is a small crossroads for the rural portions of south-western
Fayette County, incorporated in March of 1876. The current population
Borough Office Hours
9:00AM - 4:00PM Monday through Friday, closed 12:00PM-12:30PM for lunch
Closed Weekends and Holidays
Effective Monday June 5, 2017 the Masontown Borough Office will no longer
be closed on Tuesday and Thursday to walk in customers. The office
will continue to close for lunch from 12:00PM to 12:30PM.
Council Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month
beginning at 6PM. Meetings are held in Council Chambers at the
Masontown Borough Municipal Complex.
The Masontown Borough Office is closed for the following Holidays:
New Year's Day, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Easter Monday, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas
There is a drop slot located to the right of the main entrance door to
the Municipal Center. This box can be used for water bill and parking
ticket payments. There is also a drive-up drop box located on Back
Lane. It is near the Police Department entrance just beyond the United
States Post Office drop box.
